DescriptionA grey cross and saltire on brown with a black flower at the centre, a warrior's shield in three layers. Plain, cheap and exactly the sort of thing a whole militia would carry. Three layers and no colour beyond the wood, which makes it feel genuinely worn.

In Minecraft Java Edition, craft the underlying banner using the loom recipe above. Then, place a blank wooden shield and the crafted banner together in any crafting grid. The shield will inherit the banner's pattern.
To summon the decorated shield directly using commands, select your Minecraft version in the command panel above and click Copy Command.
