DMCA and Copyright
Last updated: 15 September 2026Members share their own banner and shield designs on MCBanners, and they own them (see the Terms). If you believe a design or a comment on this site infringes a copyright you hold, send a notice and we will act on it.
What a notice needs
- The address of the page on MCBanners (the banner, shield, profile, or comment).
- The work you say is infringed, and where we can see it.
- Your name, email address, and postal address.
- A statement that you believe in good faith the use is not authorised by the copyright owner, its agent, or the law.
- A statement, under penalty of perjury, that the notice is accurate and that you are the owner or authorised to act for the owner.
- Your physical or electronic signature.
Send it to contact@minecraftbanners.net with the subject “DMCA notice”.
What happens next
We remove or disable the content, tell the member who shared it, and pass them your notice. They may send a counter-notice with the same details and a statement under penalty of perjury that the content was removed by mistake; if they do, we forward it to you, and unless you tell us within ten business days that you have filed a court action, we may restore the content.
Not about copyright?
