DescriptionA black creeper face on a yellow field, the gradient stack underneath giving the yellow some depth. Six layers, all available since 1.9, so any survival world can craft it at a loom. Six layers of yellow before a single black face, which is a lot of build-up for one punchline.

In Minecraft Java Edition, craft the underlying banner using the loom recipe above. Then, place a blank wooden shield and the crafted banner together in any crafting grid. The shield will inherit the banner's pattern.
